Session Policies

Mini Sessions and Regular Sessions have different policies.

Please review the section that applies to your booking.

 

SESSION OVERVIEW

Mini Sessions

  • 20 minutes (varies by theme)

  • Limited number of edited images

  • Professional editing

  • Delivery within 2 weeks

  • Online gallery and download

  • No RAW images

  • Personal use only

  • No commercial use

 

Regular Sessions

  • 20 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes

  • Images based on selected package

  • Professional editing with optional retouching

  • Delivery within 2–3 weeks

  • Online gallery and download

  • No RAW images

  • Personal use only

  • No commercial use unless approved

 

PAYMENT POLICY

  • Payment is required at booking

  • Sessions are not confirmed until paid

  • All payments are non-refundable

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • All payments are non-refundable

  • No-shows and last-minute cancellations may result in loss of session

  • May affect future booking eligibility

 

RESCHEDULING POLICY
Mini Sessions

  • Rescheduling is not guaranteed due to limited availability

 

Regular Sessions

  • At least 48 hours notice required

  • One reschedule allowed (must be within 30 days)

 

LATE POLICY

  • Sessions begin at scheduled time

  • Late arrival results in reduced session time

  • Missed sessions may be forfeited

 

LIABILITY

Photographer is not responsible for:

  • Weather conditions

  • Uncooperative subjects

  • Injuries or property damage

  • Missed moments due to circumstances beyond control

If an issue occurs (equipment failure, file loss), liability is limited to the amount paid.

 

PROPS AND SAFETY

  • Props are allowed but used at your own risk

  • Photographer is not responsible for damage or injury

  • Children must be supervised at all times

  • Unsafe props will not be used

 

ARTISTIC STYLE

  • Photographer maintains full creative control

  • Final images reflect Leola April Photography’s style

  • RAW or unedited images are not provided

 

IMAGE RIGHTS

  • Photographer retains copyright

  • Clients receive personal-use rights only

  • Images may not be edited, sold, or used commercially without permission

 

MODEL RELEASE

By booking, you allow images to be used for:

  • Portfolio

  • Website

  • Marketing

Opt-out requests must be submitted in writing before your session.

 

WEATHER

Sessions may be rescheduled if conditions are unsafe.

 

LEGAL

This business operates under Minnesota law.

Any legal matters will be handled in Dakota County, Minnesota.

 

AGREEMENT

By booking your session, you agree to all policies listed above.
